Recreation & Parks Department hour-long field hockey clinic for grades three to eight starts at 10 a.m. and runs through Dec. 18 at Piper Field (high school), 2 Humphrey St. 

Tuesday, Nov. 29

At 7 p.m., Jewish Community Center of the North Shore, 4 Community Road, hosts author Mark Arsenault discussing “The Imposter’s War,” an account of Imperial Germany’s World War I attempts to keep the United States a neutral power.  

Wednesday, Nov. 30

All ages are welcome to participate in the gingerbread house decorating workshop, 3:15-5:30 p.m. in the community center dining room, 10 Humphrey St. “Pre built” houses will be provided

Rotary Club of Marblehead meets weekly on Thursdays, 12:15 – 1:30 p.m., at the Boston Yacht Club, 1 Front St. with lunch and conversation focused on local club endeavors and global Rotary missions.
