Shakespeare Workshop

The Marblehead Little Theatre invites kids ages 9 to 13 down to the theatre from July 10 – 14 for a weeklong acting Shakespeare workshop. In the workshop, kids will discover and learn stories of Kings and Queens, Battles and Betrayals, Faeries and Lovers. By participating in games, voice work, and exploring texts, these young actors will better understand how to approach and perform Shakespeare’s characters and use the language to tell a story.

The students will go through acting exercises and performance, as well as bringing Shakespeare’s words off the page and into the modern world. The class will be limited to no more than 12 students and the workshop is $275 per student.

Open golf tournament

The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2023 Marblehead Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place on July 10, starting at 12 p.m. at Tedesco Country Club. Register at marbleheadchamber.org for day of fun, golf and camaraderie.

Cruise In

Car enthusiasts are encouraged to stop on by the scenic Marblehead waterfront in the Riverhead Beach parking lot on July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. This monthly cruise in is an opportunity for car lovers to come together and appreciate all makes and models of cars.

Vinyasa Yoga

Starting July 12, join Celine outside of the Abbot Public Library’s temporary location at Eveleth School on the green at 8 a.m. for her outdoor community yoga classes using Vinyasa Yoga. The vinyasa-style classes use poses that focus on stretching and strengthening the body, connecting with the breath, and creating energy to power you through the rest of your day.
