Intro to Marblehead Town Government
In partnership with the Marblehead League of Women Voters, Abbot Public Library is presenting a series of lectures on Marblehead Town Government, providing the opportunity for town residents to learn about how individual departments work within the municipality. This program will be offered in person and on Zoom. The second speaker for fall 2023 is Finance Director Aleesha Nunley Benjamin. As the chief financial officer and finance director for the Town of Marblehead, her job is to optimize the town’s financial performance, enhance financial transparency and accountability, strengthen internal controls, and develop effective financial policies and procedures.
Harbor Holidays at the B.Y.C.
Harbor Holidays is a pre-Thanksgiving tradition! 23 Artisans gather in Marblehead at this beautiful seaside venue on the weekend before Thanksgiving each year. The event is free and open to the public! Friday night features a cash bar – enjoy sipping your favorite beverage while shopping to your hearts content!
