Join the Marblehead Public Schools for this powerful presentation. Former NBA Celtics player from Fall River, Chris Herren, had a successful professional basketball career when he lost it all to the disease of addiction. Chris has now been sober for 15 years and has since shared his journey with others with the goal of having a positive impact on them. He founded the nonprofit Herren Project. Through this organization, Chris and his team empower schools and communities to make healthy choices, while also guiding families through recovery. Wreaths Out
Save the date for Wreaths Out Day on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. We will be going through Waterside Cemetery, Creesy Street Cemetery, Old Burial Hill and, Star of the Sea Cemetery to pick up the 2,300 wreaths which were laid in Honor and Remembrance. Dress for the weather, wear work gloves and, remove only Wreaths Across America wreaths.
