Devereux Dino Dig
On Friday, July 21, at 5:15 p.m., kids can participate in the Devereux Dino Dig, hosted by the Marblehead Recreation and Parks. Kids will be able to excavate and discover dinosaur eggs and fossils and reveal souvenir fossils in the sand. The cost per child is $12. Island Roots Summer Camp
The Island Roots Summer Camp will be taking place from Monday, June 24, to Friday, July 28. At the camp, kids will enjoy a number of activities including hiking, outdoor games, walking trips to local playgrounds, board games and puzzles, counselor-led activities and crafts, along with a maker space, a builder space, and a music room. Camp days run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with an optional extended day until 5 p.m. Island Roots Summer Camps will run until Aug. 25. Teen DIY
Teens can head down to Abbot Public Library’s temporary location on 3 Brook Road to create do-it-yourself collage portraits on Tuesday, July 25, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The afternoon can be spent making a mixed-media collage with things that represent, motivate, and inspire you. Materials will be provided by the library and no registration is required.
