INTERVIEWED: Elizabeth Legget and Kaitlyn Williams (together, as they “always work together!”) of the Manhattan Sandwich Company.
LISTENING: We listen to a lot of ’60s and ’80s music on the Apple playlist “Hit Essentials.” In the summer (our busiest time) when we listen, we go through every decade.
WATCHING: Mostly streaming YouTube videos.
On HULU watching Court Cam and Killer Cases
READING:
Elizabeth: “Mad Honey” by Jennifer Finney Boylan and Jodi Picoult
Kaitlyn: “Forgiving What You Can’t Forget” by Lysa TerKeurst. I read everything — love Jesse Stone novels and Robert Parker. I have four kids so I also read to them — I read what they are reading in their book clubs.
SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAREER:
Elizabeth: I used to play ice hockey for the Marblehead team. I’m a single (hardworking)
mom with a 3-year-old.
Kaitlyn: I’ve been working here for 18 years. In high time (summer) — I’ve made more than 300
sandwiches in a day… just put a smile on your face and keep going! I think Marblehead is a lot more community-based than it was. Since COVID you can really seen that people are here for each other now.
