INTERVIEWED: Richard Burke of UPS.
LISTENING: My taste — Big band, jazz, ’60s and R&B, and ’80s — there’s a big airplay here at work. I like “Kind of Blue” by Miles Davis, “Mutations” by Beck, and the Beatles’ White Album.
WATCHING: I don’t watch a lot of news because I read it online — less skewed. I do like to watch series… “Succession” and “Better Call Saul.” I watch sports too, but it’s been a “return-to-earth” for Sox and Patriots fans.
READING: I read The New Yorker, The Atlantic (monthly), The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Boston Globe, all online. I’m reading “A Moveable Feast” by Ernest Hemingway. It’s about his “tween” war years in Paris.
SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAREER: That people come here to UPS because they love us. They consistently tell us we are the best in what we do — our business is all-around business services with customer service and reliability.
