INTERVIEWED: Steve Lipsky
LISTENING: I primarily listen to the music I grew up with — ’70s and ’80s in the car, Pandora, Spotify.
WATCHING: I just rewatched “Breaking Bad” on Netflix. I usually don’t watch disturbing stuff at night but more comedy — Dave Chapelle and old episodes of “Seinfeld.”
READING: One of my favorite books is “A Walk in the Woods” by Bill Bryson — I’ve read all of his others (“Made in America,” “Thunderbolt Kid,” etc.).
I’m hoping that Bill Belichick comes out with a tell-all story… that would be fascinating
SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW WBOUT YOU OR YOUR CAREER: I used to run marathons, mostly in New England, but I did do the Marine Corps Marathon in D.C. I stopped when I had my second child — it was just too time consuming.
And — I became a plumber by accident. I have a finance degree from college. When I finished, I got a job working for a carpenter. I loved working with my hands, which led me to my career as a plumber.
WHAT YOU ENJOY ABOUT MARBLEHEAD: Almost every weekend here is like a vacation — boating, festivals…there’s always something to do. And, easy access to the water.
WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT MARBLEHEAD? There doesn’t seem to be enough funding for things that are important like schools… there should be enough money.
