In a world where everyone can be more kind, the legacy of Cale Weston is sharing that message.
Weston was a lifelong resident of Marblehead before he passed away in February 2024 from to cancer.
Weston is remembered for his undeniable kindness to everyone around him and as a result the Cale Weston ‘Be Kind’ Fund was established. The purpose is to carry on the message Weston believed in, which was to “be kind” and help others as he did.
The fund began with the help from family, fellow friends, and residents who knew Weston or the Weston family. This Thanksgiving, the “Be Kind” fund will be handing out approximately one hundred turkeys to the Marblehead Food Pantry giving all families the opportunity to share a special meal this holiday.
In the future the Weston family will plan to help other community needs that may come about through Weston’s mission of helping and sharing kindness.
Any donations can be made at the National Grand Bank, 91 Pleasant St. in Marblehead.
