Tuesday, May 7

Assist Citizen
A report of assistance to a citizen at 1:36 p.m. on West Shore Drive. Officers assisted the reporting party and documented the incident.

Complaint General
A report of a general complaint at 10:26 a.m. on Green Street. Officers responded and filed a report.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
Reports of larceny, forgery, or fraud were taken at 12:59 p.m. on West Shore Drive and at 4:45 p.m. on Glendale Road. Officers responded and filed reports in both cases.

Motor Vehicles
A report of a motor vehicle complaint at 11:47 a.m. near Lafayette Street and Dartmouth Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. A motor vehicle crash occurred at 12:22 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Washington Street involving fire and EMS response. Officers filed a report. A motor vehicle stop at 6:24 p.m. on Ocean Avenue resulted in a verbal warning. Another stop at 7:21 p.m. near Countryside Lane and Humphrey Street resulted in a citation issued.

Property Checks
Reports of property checks at 1:24 a.m. on Pleasant Street; 3:50 a.m. on Community Road; 3:52 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue; 8:56 a.m. on Community Road; 9:01 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue; 7:04 p.m. on Community Road; and 7:45 p.m. on Village Street. All buildings and areas were secure.

Utilities
Reports of utility work and coordination took place throughout the morning and included Mayer Line Clearing at Woodfin Terrace; RJ Devereaux work on Bubier Road and Evans Road; and National Grid activity on Stonybrook Road, Orchard Street, and Everett Paine Boulevard. Granese crews were also present at Roosevelt Avenue and Pleasant Street. The Drain Department responded to Atlantic Avenue and Barnard Street for related work. Verizon was on scene at Humphrey Street and Ralph Road. All assignments were completed or noted.

Work Details
Town Meeting-related police detail was conducted at 5:53 p.m. at Humphrey Street by multiple officers, including designated police detail support. Officers also provided services during the meeting.

911 Hang-Ups
A 911 hang-up was reported at 9:52 p.m. on Jersey Street. Officers responded and investigated.

Wednesday, May 8

911 Hang-Ups
Calls were received at 9:48 a.m. on Andrews Lane and 1:47 p.m. on Elm Street. Officers responded and found no issues.

Assist Citizen
An officer assisted a resident with a needle disposal at 7:14 a.m. at Pleasant Street and Gerry Street. Later in the day, officers provided assistance at 5:51 p.m. on Humphrey Street.

Building Checks
Officers conducted building checks at 5:36 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 5:38 a.m. on State Street, 5:42 a.m. on Front Street, 6:30 a.m. on Ferry Lane, and 6:32 a.m. on Front Street. All buildings were secured.

Complaints General
A general complaint was investigated at 1:06 p.m. on Chestnut Street. A second complaint followed at 1:52 p.m. on Baldwin Road. Officers restored peace and services were rendered at 1:53 p.m. again on Chestnut Street.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
A report of larceny/fraud was filed at 10:45 a.m. on Beach Street. Officers took a report.

Motor Vehicles
A motor vehicle stop resulted in a verbal warning at 8:42 a.m. at Pleasant Street and Smith Street; another at 8:56 a.m. at the same intersection. A third stop at 9:20 a.m. on Lafayette Street also resulted in a warning. Officers investigated two moving motor vehicle complaints at 3:08 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and Commercial Street and at 3:20 p.m. at Pleasant Street and Gerry Street. One disabled motor vehicle was reported and assisted at 10:48 a.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Pierce Street.

Out Of Town Event
Officers provided coverage for Town Meeting at 6:02 p.m. on Humphrey Street.

Property Checks
Property checks were conducted at 1:09 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue and 6:42 a.m. on West Shore Drive. Both locations were found secured.

Utilities
Officers documented several work details involving utility crews throughout town beginning at 6:50 a.m. Crews from Mayer Tree Service, RJ Devereaux, National Grid, Granese, and Verizon were reported working in areas including Woodfin Terrace, Bubier Road, Elm Street, Evans Road, Roosevelt Avenue, Pleasant Street, and Stonybrook Road. Services were rendered or monitored accordingly.

Friday, May 9

Alarms
A report of a panic alarm at 10:28 p.m. on Dennett Road. Officers responded and investigated; a report of a burglar alarm at 10:54 p.m. on Humphrey Street. Officers confirmed it was a false alarm.

Assist Citizens
A report of citizen assistance at 9:45 p.m. on Gerry Street. Officers responded and provided assistance; another report at 10:40 p.m. on Gerry Street. Officers checked the building and confirmed it was secure.

Assist Other Agency
A report of assistance to another agency at 8:28 p.m. on Pearl Street. Officers assisted as needed.

Building Checks
Reports of building checks at 5:17 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 5:19 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 5:25 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 5:50 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All buildings were checked and secured; a check at 5:59 p.m. on Turner Road required no action.

Complaints General
A report of a general complaint at 9:03 a.m. on Seaview Avenue. Officers investigated the matter and documented it.

Disturbances
A report of a disturbance at 10 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers responded and restored peace; another disturbance was reported at 10:20 p.m. on Village Street. Officers determined it was unfounded.

Found/Lost Property
A report of found/lost property at 1:07 a.m. and 1:36 a.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers provided services in both cases.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
A report of larceny/forgery/fraud at 7:17 a.m. on Lafayette Street. Officers investigated and filed a report.

Motor Vehicles
Reports of motor vehicle stops with verbal warnings at 7:48 a.m. and 9:54 a.m. on Lafayette Street. A moving vehicle complaint was reported at 11:28 a.m. near Front Street and Circle Street. Officers responded and provided services; a crash was reported at 12:24 p.m. near Pleasant Street. Officers took a report; a paper exchange related to an accident was conducted at 12:39 p.m. on Bessom Street. Officers issued a citation and documented the incident; a clipped mirror from a past incident was reported at 1:23 p.m. on West Shore Drive. Officers investigated and filed a report; a moving vehicle complaint was reported at 1:30 p.m. near Smith Street and Pleasant Street. Officers could not locate the vehicle; another moving vehicle complaint was reported at 4:28 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue and Hewitt Street. Officers responded and rendered services.

Property Checks
Reports of property checks at 1:07 a.m. and 1:36 a.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers confirmed all properties were secure.

Suspicious Activity
A report of suspicious activity at 10:28 p.m. on Dennett Road. Officers investigated the situation and ensured all was in order.

Tree/Branch Down
A report of a tree branch down at 11:19 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers responded to the scene and ensured public safety.

Utilities
Reports of utility work at 6:50 a.m. included Mayer Line Clearing on Woodfin Terrace, RJ Devereaux crews on Bubier Road and Evans Road, and Granese crews on Roosevelt Avenue and Pleasant Street. Additional reports included National Grid crews on Stonybrook Road and Verizon work at Humphrey Street and Ralph Road. All assignments were completed with services rendered.

Saturday, May 10

Building Checks
Reports of building checks at 12:34 a.m. on Gerry Street, 12:39 a.m. on Elm Street, 5:14 a.m. on Pleasant Street, and 6:43 a.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All buildings were found secured.

Carnival Details
Officers were assigned to provide detail coverage at various times throughout the day at the St. Andrew’s Rummage Sale and the carnival event on Ocean Avenue. All details were completed with services rendered.

Complaints General
Reports of general complaints at 7:56 a.m. on Sewall Street, 11:59 a.m. on High Street, 4:01 p.m. on Green Street, 6:29 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue and Hawkes Street, 7:40 p.m. on Pleasant Street, 9:47 p.m. near Pleasant Street, 10:14 p.m. at Green Street and West Shore Drive, and 11:02 p.m. on Gerald Road. Some complaints were resolved on scene, others were unfounded or the source could not be located.

Found/Lost Property
Reports of found or lost property at 5:21 p.m. on State Street and 9:22 p.m. on Ocean Avenue. Items were secured and reports were taken.

General Information
Officers documented general information at 7:58 a.m. near West Shore Drive and Rainbow Road, and 10:36 p.m. on Humphrey Street.

Motor Vehicles
A motor vehicle stop at 9:01 a.m. near Pleasant Street and Rockaway Street resulted in a citation; another stop at 2:26 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue and Washington Street also resulted in a citation. Officers responded to a crash at 4:48 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. A disabled vehicle was reported nearby, though no action was needed. A moving motor vehicle complaint was addressed at 4:58 p.m. near Watson Street and Pleasant Street.

Property Checks
Reports of property checks at 11:05 a.m. and 5:39 p.m. on Community Road, 11:08 a.m. and 5:41 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 10:17 p.m. on Humphrey Street. All properties were secure.

Assist Citizen
Officers assisted citizens at 2:12 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and at 3:59 p.m. on Lime Street. The latter was a welfare check that resulted in no contact.

Sunday, May 11

Alarms
False burglar alarms were reported at 2:47 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and at 4:16 p.m. on Humphrey Street. Officers responded and confirmed both were accidental.

Assist Other Agency
At 7:02 p.m., officers assisted another agency regarding a matter on Peabody Street in Salem. No action was required.

Building Checks
Routine building checks were conducted at 5:13 a.m. on West Shore Drive, 5:16 and 5:18 a.m. on Village Street, 5:23 a.m. and 5:27 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 5:50 a.m. on Front Street, and 6:37 a.m. on Foster Street. All buildings were found secure.

Complaints General
A general complaint was logged at 12:42 a.m. on Mohawk Road. Officers responded but were unable to locate the source; another complaint was addressed at 8:32 p.m. on Broughton Road. Officers rendered services.

Disturbance
A disturbance was reported at 9:50 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers responded and took a report.

Found/Lost Property
Property was turned in or found at 3:08 p.m. on Village Street, 3:20 p.m. on Wyman Road, 4:36 p.m. on Front Street, and 7:02 p.m. on Naugus Avenue. Officers documented and rendered services in each case.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
A report of possible fraud was taken at 3:10 p.m. on Mugford Street. Services were rendered and the incident was documented.

Motor Vehicles
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 5:10 p.m. on Washington Street. Officers responded and rendered services.

Out of Town 911 Call
A 911 call was received at 10:35 p.m. from Dane Street in Beverly and was referred to the appropriate agency.

Property Checks
Officers performed property checks at 9:16 a.m. on Community Road and at 9:19 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All locations were found in order.

Work Details
Police details were provided during a scheduled dance event at 2:12 p.m. and again at 2:50 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Services were rendered.

Monday, May 12

Assist Citizen
A report of assistance to a citizen at 4:53 p.m. on Pond Street. Officers responded and documented the incident.

Building Checks
A report of a building check at 10:11 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. The building was checked and secured.

Complaints General
Reports of general complaints at 9:10 a.m. on Evans Road, 10:51 a.m. on West Shore Drive, and 3:06 p.m. near West Shore Drive and Cornell Road. Officers responded and provided services.

Disturbance
A report of a disturbance at 11:15 a.m. on Lime Street. Officers responded to a domestic situation and filed a report.

Found/Lost Property
Reports of found/lost property at 8:39 a.m. on Humphrey Street and 9:08 a.m. on Kenneth Road. Property was secured and services were rendered.

General Information
A report of general information at 3:33 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. Services were rendered.

Motor Vehicles
A report of a minor crash at 7:17 a.m. near Elm Street and Evans Road. Report was taken.
