The Marblehead Museum is once again inviting those 21 or older to come to its second annual Spirit Night: a guided tasting of fine scotches and Irish whiskey.
The event will take place in the Masonic Lodge Building at 62 Pleasant St., on March 13 at 6 p.m.
Some of the spirits that will be featured are: Arran 10-year Scotch, Old Pulteney 12-year Scotch, Speyburn 10-year Scotch, Irishman Harvest Whiskey, Writers Tears Double Oak, and Waterford Cuvée Cask.
According to associate director Jarrett Zeman, Kate Mazzotta from Origin Beverages will be guiding guests through the evening. She will be teaching everyone about the history of each spirit as well as explaining what it takes to distill the alcohol.
The drinks will be served with appetizers catered by Every Little Breeze.
Tickets for museum members are $85, and tickets for the public are $95. Tickets can be purchased on the museum’s website or by calling 781-631-1768. All proceeds will go toward the museum’s operations.
