Barge fire termed ‘accidental’

The Fourth of July Fireworks and Harbor Illumination were canceled after the fireworks barge caught fire last Thursday. The cause of the barge fire is currently under investigation, but Fire Chief Jason Gilliland said it was an accident. Fire reported on West Shore Drive in Marblehead

The Marblehead, Swampscott, and Salem fire departments responded to a two-alarm fire at 138 West Shore Drive on Wednesday. The fire was knocked down just before 12:30 p.m., as residents of the home were consoled by others. Electrical fire breaks out at Shubie’s

A small electrical fire broke out at Shubie’s Marketplace Thursday morning, according to the store’s Facebook page.
